My foster family
Small group photoThis is my last camp of the month.
I swear, lols.
This time we went into the deep deep deep
inside of Bintulu?
We stayed at Rumah Johnson,
where all of the 49 families in that long house
greeted us with hospitality and kindness.
One or two of us gets to stay with our foster family
for a night and learn their language.
Dik makai? = Have you eaten?
There's lots, but gahh I forgot x__x
Anyways, we also get dragged into drinking their local wine,
aka 'Tuak' hahahah.
It was quite strong and it was funny watching the others drink.
Me, Jamie, Aaron and Jeremy all did one shot drinks
for lik 10 times in a row.
I did get a little dizzy after that.
But, nothing worse happened!
x)
They also gave us a taste of their self planted rice and fruits.
Their rice and rambutan are really nice!
As for durian, it was kindah special
cz its in orangy colour.
It tasted a little strong, for me.
So yeah, we did Poco-poco dance before we leave.
Feel reluctant to leave those little 'Nyobo (Monkeys)',
though their jokes are kinda lame, hehhe.
Hope to hear from them soon!
Via letter.
